The fire warden course is specifically designed be informative, easily understood, interactive and enjoyable for all those attending and will include reference to:

• Any fire hazards within, or associated with, your premises/type of premises
• Actions to take in the event of discovering a Fire

Ideal Attendees

All nominated Fire Wardens / Fire Marshals as well as any other applicable staff - particularly those with enhanced responsibilities such as managers, shift Leaders, department heads etc.

The training course will be completed at your premises. All we require to facilitate our training is a quiet room that is big enough to comfortably have enough space for both our trainer and your course delegates, that has a Television & DVD player (or projector for a laptop).

Please Note – Regarding the “Live Fire” Practice Section of Practical Extinguisher Training – For us to complete the “Live Fire” Practice Section of the Practical Extinguisher Training (which delegates consistently tell us is a really helpful, instructive and enjoyable final 20 -30 mins of the course), we will need an outside area for the course delegates to safely discharge Extinguishers. This area should be away from buildings and vehicles and should be roughly equivalent in size to 5 car parking spaces as we use a “live fire rig”.

This live fire training rig provides the opportunity for delegates to practice using the different extinguishers for extinguishing Class A & Electrical fires in a safe & risk assessed environment using our smokeless training rig. (If this is not possible due to space limitations then the course will still include the extinguisher training section, but without the “Live Fire Practice Session”).

All our trainers are either serving Fire Officers still in the British Fire Service and with a training background and adult teaching qualifications, or are fully qualified Fire Safety Trainers. Real life fire video footage is used for a case study, with additional footage taken from the Fire Service and is based around fire behaviour and the “dos and don’ts” in such situations.
