The training course will take place at your premises. To facilitate the training, we require a quiet room that is sufficiently spacious to accommodate both our trainer and your course delegates, along with a television and DVD player (or a projector connected to a laptop).

Please note: For the “Live Fire” Practice Section of the Practical Extinguisher Training, we need an outdoor area where delegates can safely discharge extinguishers. This area should be located away from buildings and vehicles and should be approximately the size of five car parking spaces, as we will be using a “live fire rig.”

This live fire training rig allows delegates to practise using various extinguishers to tackle Class A and electrical fires in a safe, risk-assessed environment with our smokeless training rig. If space limitations prevent this, the course will still cover the extinguisher training section, but without the “Live Fire Practice Session.”

All our trainers are either serving Fire Officers still in the British Fire Service and with a training background and adult teaching qualifications, or are fully qualified Fire Safety Trainers. Real life fire video footage is used for a case study, with additional footage taken from the Fire Service and is based around fire behaviour and the “dos and don’ts” in such situations.
